Stowmarket Rugby Club's U16s continued their winning ways, following up last Sunday's victory over Bury St Edmunds with a tough 38-26 win against Woodbridge RUFC.
​Travelling to Woodbridge, a club always known for its welcoming atmosphere, the Stowmarket boys maintained their focus to secure another fantastic result. This was a true team effort in a great, hard-fought contest between two strong sides.
​The scoring was led by a fantastic hat-trick from Ben, whose relentless attack proved too much for the Woodbridge defence. Charlie H also crossed the line twice, showcasing his pace and skill, while Noah ran one in under the posts to round off the team's tally. Will was clinical with the boot, successfully converting four of the six tries to maintain the pressure and keep Stowmarket's scoreboard ticking over. The final score of 38-26 is a testament to the lads' grit and determination on the pitch.

​Man of the Match
​A special mention must go to Oli, Stowmarket's talismanic Scrum Half, whose outstanding performance earned him the Man of the Match award. His tireless work rate, sharp decision-making, and strong control of the game were instrumental in securing the win.

​A Note of Concern
​While the win is a huge positive for the team, the day was unfortunately marred by an injury to Vinnie, who bravely played his part but suffered a broken collarbone during the game. He'll sadly be out of action for a while as he recovers, and the entire club wishes him a speedy return to the field.
​It was a great win for the lads, keeping the momentum high as they head further into the season. The team will be keen to build on this performance in their next fixture!
