This weekend, Stowmarket Rugby Club is bringing festive cheer to the town with our annual Carol Crawl — a fun, friendly community event based on the classic 12 Pubs of Christmas.

We’ll be setting off together from the club at 6:00pm, heading around some of our favourite local spots including the Stag, the Gladstone, the Oak, and the Welly, stopping in each pub to sing one Christmas carol before moving on to the next. It’s all about having a laugh, spreading a bit of Christmas spirit, and supporting the brilliant pubs that look after us throughout the year.

The evening is open to everyone and families are very welcome — you don’t have to be a rugby player to take part! Whether you join us for the full route or meet us along the way for a song or two, we’d love to see as many friendly faces as possible.

We’ll be kicking things off at the club with hot chocolate for the walk, with a festive Baileys option for 18+ to add a little extra warmth to the evening. And of course, Christmas jumpers are strongly encouraged — the louder, brighter, and more sparkly the better!
