We are excited to invite our entire community to the Stowmarket RUFC 2024/25 Season Opener Family Day on the 14th of September! After an intense season opener away, our senior teams are gearing up to ignite the home field, and we want to kick off our home fixtures with an unforgettable celebration.

The Lineup: Rugby Action and Fun-Filled Activities

The highlight of the day will be our 1st XV taking to the pitch for their first home game of the season. Let’s rally together to create the biggest, loudest crowd and show our unwavering support! Alongside this thrilling match, we’ll be hosting our first supporters club lunch of the season, giving you the perfect chance to mingle with fellow fans, share your love for the sport, and enjoy a fantastic day out.

We’ve also got a special treat for our youth teams! During halftime, some of our younger players will have the incredible opportunity to play in front of our amazing home crowd, giving them a taste of the big-game atmosphere. And before the main event, our youth section will form a Guard of Honour to welcome the players onto the field—an experience that promises to be both memorable and inspiring.

Family-Friendly Fun for Everyone

Our Season Opener Family Day is all about community, and we’ve planned plenty of family-friendly activities to keep everyone entertained. The kids will love bouncing around on our bouncy castles, while foodies can indulge in delicious offerings from a local food vendor and enjoy sweet treats from one of our favorite ice cream vans. And of course, we’ll have a fully stocked bar to keep the drinks flowing and the energy high all day long!
