It’s been a long wait for Stowmarket Rugby Club, but the countdown is finally over. Tomorrow, rugby returns to Phoenix Park as our men’s 1st XV step out for their first pre-season action in three years.

The occasion? A tri-fixture against two tough opponents – Norwich Rugby Club and Cantabrigian RUFC – in what promises to be a cracking afternoon of rugby.

After a challenging few seasons, tomorrow marks more than just a pre-season fixture – it’s the start of something good for the club, the players, and the community that stands behind them.

Head Coach Clarke said:

“The lads have been working hard through the summer. This is our chance to show what we’ve been building and get back to doing what we love – playing in front of our supporters at home.”

With fresh faces joining the squad, returning pillars ready to make an impact, and the unmistakable buzz of matchday returning to Phoenix Park, the stage is set for an afternoon of excitement, commitment, and Stowmarket pride.
