It is with regret that Stowmarket Rugby Club announces the cancellation of this weekend's away fixture against Felixstowe. The decision comes as Felixstowe has been unable to field a team, resulting in the unfortunate conclusion of the season without a final game.

Coach Colin Clarke comments "whilst it is disappointing to end like this, we cannot let it tarnish everything the 2nd XV has achieved this year. With the forfeit awarding us 5 points, we now go level with Colchester III's and move above them to second with points scored. This is a huge result for the club, and I am proud of all these boys and look forward to building on the success next season"

While the cancellation means no bus trip for supporters this weekend, it also signifies the end of senior rugby for the season. Players will now have a well-deserved rest period, with some venturing off to EC training and matches before preseason preparations begin anew.
