In the recent days there have been important updates by the RFU regarding the return to Rugby. As you may know, some sporting facilities are now allowed to be open and each club should make their own decision on when their facilities are ready to open and can operate safely. We are monitoring these updates closely and we want to highlight that the Health and Wellbeing of all our club members is paramount.

Until we feel safe and responsible to reopen we will remain closed. This includes both use of the Clubhouse and the organised usage of the pitches for training/fitness for all members.

Talking about the pitches ….. you may have heard about a new fence that now encloses them. Even during this time we are continuing to invest in our Club’s facilities so we are ready to get back out there when we can. There are some pictures attached.

Six members of the Committee (keeping to social distancing guidelines!) met last night to discuss reopening, but as the RFU updated their guidelines at the same time they will be meeting again, virtually, to discuss the most recent Government and RFU Guidelines.

Any decisions and new updates will be communicated to all members of the Club via email and also social media. Please feel free to ask us any questions.
