Following the announcement about our plans for the future of Stowmarket Rugby Club, we've received some great feedback and questions from members. Thank you to everyone who has got in touch.
To ensure every member has the opportunity to fully understand the proposals before making a decision, we would like to clarify that there will be two separate meetings.
Member Update Meeting
This meeting is not the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) and there will be no vote.
Instead, it has been arranged to provide members with a comprehensive update on the Shelf Project and our proposed new clubhouse and facilities. The evening will include a presentation on the latest developments, an opportunity to view the plans, and plenty of time for members to ask questions and discuss the proposals with the committee.
We want everyone to feel informed and confident ahead of the formal vote, so we encourage all members, players, parents and supporters to attend.
Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM)
The official Extraordinary General Meeting will take place two weeks later.
This is the meeting where eligible members will be asked to vote on the proposals that will shape the future of Stowmarket Rugby Club and the development of our new facilities.
Looking Ahead
This is a hugely exciting time for our club. The vision for our new home has the potential to transform what we can offer our members, our players and the wider community for many years to come.
We strongly encourage everyone to attend the update meeting on 9th July to hear the full story, ask any questions you may have, and ensure you're fully informed before the vote on 23rd July.
We look forward to seeing you there as we take this exciting next step together. ❤️?
